Hello, my name is Denise, and welcome to my creative corner.

Tinker Tailoress began with a passion for giving materials a second life through handmade creations. What started with crafting bags from recycled denim has grown into a collection of unique accessories, gifts and homeware, all lovingly handmade from my home in Devon.

I believe that beautiful, handmade items should not only bring joy to their owners but also be kinder to our planet. In a world increasingly dominated by fast fashion and mass production, I enjoy creating pieces that are made with care, attention to detail and sustainability in mind.

Many of my creations incorporate recycled and repurposed materials, helping to reduce waste while transforming forgotten fabrics into something new and useful. Alongside my denim bags, I now create handmade earrings and accessories, offering distinctive pieces that allow you to express your own style while supporting small-scale, independent craftsmanship.

I’ve also added embroidery to my toolkit, enabling me to personalise many of my creations with names, messages and decorative designs. Whether you’re looking for a thoughtful gift, a practical everyday accessory or something completely unique, I love creating items that have a personal touch.
