This unique bag has been lovingly handcrafted from a pair of dark blue jeans, giving the denim a new lease of life rather than allowing it to go to waste.
The front flap features a striking machine-embroidered steampunk pocket watch in shades of gold, with intricate gears and scroll details stitched in black and white threads. To add an extra touch of fun and individuality, I have also stitched a quirky crystal ball patch to the front of the bag.
The combination of the steampunk-inspired embroidery, crystal ball and upcycled denim gives this bag a wonderfully unusual character. This is a complete one-off, so once it’s gone, there won’t be another exactly like it.
The bag has a useful original jeans pocket on the outside, perfect for keeping smaller essentials close at hand, while another jeans pocket has been stitched inside the bag for additional storage.
Inside, the bag is fully lined with a pretty 100% cotton blue and white paisley fabric, adding a lovely contrast to the darker denim.
The bag is finished with a plain black adjustable crossbody strap and a mixture of gold and silver-coloured hardware.
