Wild at heart and made to be different.
This striking crossbody bag began life as an old pair of leopard print denim jeans. Rather than letting the denim go to waste, I’ve transformed it into a completely unique handmade bag with plenty of character.
The word “Untamed” has been machine embroidered in white thread across the front flap, creating a simple but bold contrast against the leopard print denim.
I’ve kept some of the character of the original jeans by incorporating a jeans pocket on the outside of the bag. This has been finished with a faux leather tab bearing the words “Hand Made”. There’s also another jeans pocket stitched inside, giving you a useful place to keep smaller items.
Inside, the bag is lined with 100% cream Cotton, chosen to complement the leopard print while providing a lighter, softer finish to the interior.
The adjustable leopard print strap continues the animal-print theme and allows the bag to be worn comfortably across the body. Gold and silver hardware adds the finishing touches.
Because this bag has been made from upcycled denim, it is a one-off-piece. The original jeans may have had a previous life, but their character has become part of something new.
